Muddy Waters was one of the most influential singers and guitarists of the 20th century. Too big for the Clarksdale, Mississippi cotton fields he worked, Muddy caught a Greyhound Bus to Chicago, illinois, electrified blues guitar, created Rock n Roll, and changed the world.

First recording at Chicago's Chess Records, Muddy Waters had early success with hits like Hoochie Coochie Man and I'm Ready. Muddy, whose real name was McKinley Morganfield, was a pioneer of electric guitar whose impact on music was so impactful that The Rolling Stones were named after Mud. In the 1970s, Muddy had a resurgence of popularity from his hit albums King Bee, I'm Ready, and Hard Again, which Johnny Winter produced and released on his label Blue Sky Records.
