This is a new 180 gram limited edition purple colored vinyl lp record pressing of Muddy Waters famed "At Newport 1960" album. Recorded July 3rd at the now-legendary 1960 Newport Jazz Festival in Newport, Rhode Island.

Chess Records originally released the album later that year.  

Muddy borrowed the guitar featured on the cover from John Lee Hooker. Mud's band included Otis Spann on piano and vocals, James Cotton on harmonica, Andrew Stevens on bass and Francis Clay on drums. Features 8 songs, including "Goodybe Newport Blues" and "I Got My Brand on You".
