Description
Only available through Bluescentric, this is an official Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii women's gold/yellow t-shirt.

It is available in sizes S through 3XL. The shirt material is 4.5 oz 100% combed ringspun cotton fine jersey with a topstitched ribbed knit collar, and double needle hems and sleeves, and a removable tag.

In 1972, Pink Floyd played a unique performance for no audience at the bygone Pompeii Amphitheatre in Pompeii, Italy -- an ancient city gruesomely yet nearly perfectly preserved in ash from a volcanic explosion some 2,000 years ago.

The concert performance was conceived by director Adrian Maben, who filmed the event to create a full-length Pink Floyd concert movie. The lack of audience, setting and creative montages put the film in contrast to other popular music docs at the time, like Monterey Pop and Woodstock.

In a need to make the movie longer, Maben was invited to Abbey Rd studios to film the band as they worked on a new project, which would become The Dark Side of the Moon.

The band played Echoes, Careful with That Axe Eugene, Saucerful of Secrets and others from previous works, and the studio footage featured Dark Side songs Us and Them and Brain Damage.
