SPECIAL RELEASE FOR DARK SIDE OF THE MOON'S 50TH ANNIVERSARY! And the 51st Anniversary of this concert!

This unique art comes directly from Pink Floyd's Live in Tokyo 1972 tour, during a two-day engagement in Japan on
March 6th and 7th.

Pink Floyd played at Tokyo-to Taiikukan, which in English translates to the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium.

This tour is special, being the first time Pink Floyd began playing the songs that would become the timeless album Dark Side of the Moon -- but the album would not be released for almost a year (on March 1, 1973).

The band played an extremely early sketch of Dark Side in its entirety. Many of the songs didn't even have proper names yet.

Afterwards, Floyd played a small handful of previous favorites, "One Of These Days", "Careful With That Axe, Eugene" and "Echoes", giving the crowd an encore with "A Saucerful of Secrets".

Curiously, though their album "Obscured By Clouds" would be released in just three months, no songs from the album were in the setlist.
