Description
Officially Licensed Vintage Style Howlin' Wolf T-shirt. Because Bluescentric cares about the music, every tee sold directly benefits Howlin' Wolf's estate.

Bluescentric Brand's vintage style Howlin' Wolf 1974 t-shirt is a premium lighter-weight 4.2oz 100% cotton shirt in sizes up to 4XL. It is slightly, but not significantly lighter than the Classic Gildan Tees. Sizes run true.

By the time this picture was taken, The Howlin' Wolf was already a living legend. Having pioneered Chicago Blues, his song spawned Rock n Roll -- the biggest bands in the world idolized the big bad Wolf.

But this night back in 1974, Chester "Howlin' Wolf" Burnett was just another bluesman rockin' a club called Joe's Place in Massachusetts. His band that night was Eddie Shaw on sax, Hubert Sumlin on guitar, and a couple of colorful musicians named Detroit Junior and Chicken House Shorty on keyboard and bass. Little more than a year later, Wolf's failing health declined and he passed away following surgery.
