This design features a photo of young Bob Dylan with his harmonica, promoting the famed Rolling Thunder Revue. The graphic style comes directly from original tour promotional material, including the curved text being slightly off-kilter.

Whether he wanted it or not, Bob Dylan was a massive star by 1975. Weary of playing huge, impersonal stadiums, Dylan conceived a different kind of tour -- touring with a ragtag folksy entourage playing intimate theaters & small venues.

The the day before Halloween, 1975, The Rolling Thunder Revue kicked off in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

The caravan of musicians included Joni Mitchell, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Joan Baez and occasional band appearances by Stephen Stills, Ringo Starr, Stevie Wonder, Bette Middler, T-Bone Burnett, Mick Ronson and even actor Dennis Hopper.

The Rolling Thunder Revue ran until the end of May 1976, playing a total of 57 dates. But the allure of the fantastic Rolling Thunder legacy only continued to grow in the decades after. In 2019, Martin Scorsese released a rock documentary on the tour on Netflix.
