Description
This is a Bluescentric Brand official Blues Brothers t-shirt, available in premium lightweight 4.2oz vintage style sizes up to 4XL. Solid colors are 100% combed, ringspun cotton. Athletic Heather is 90% cotton. All other Heather colors are 52% cotton, 48% poly. Sizes run true. These t shirts are lighter and slightly more fitted compared to the Classic Gildan tees.

The design was drawn from the Blues Brothers original 1980 tour shirts.

Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi had just put together a crack rhythm & blues soul revue band, and their 1978 live show at Universal Amphitheater (opening for comedian Steve Martin) turned into the #1 billboard hit album Briefcase Full Of Blues.

But June of 1980 would be the month that made The Blues Brothers a household name.

The movie premiered June 20th, 1980, and seven days later in a soul-filled high-energy case of life imitating art, The Blues Brothers Band set out on a real life national tour starting at Poplar Creek Music Theater in Illinois and ending with a massive six night engagement at L.A.'s Universal Amphitheater.
