It was in the heart of the south on a springtime Saturday night in Prichard, Alabama. The famed Harlem Duke Social Club on St. Stephens Road was hosting The Howlin' Wolf and his band.

The date was May 30th, 1964, tickets were $3.00 and Howlin' Wolf sang his hits, like "Smokestack Lightning", "Wang Dang Doodle" the recently released "Three Hundred Pounds of Joy" and "Sock It To Me".
