Description
This fun tie-dye Big Brother and the Holding Company cat tie-dye shirt is 100% cotton and available in a variety of sizes. No two t-shirt colorings are exactly alike... enjoy each for its own uniqueness! But wash separately.

Big Brother and the Holding Company's firey acidic psychedelic rock would perfectly fit the tumultuous era from which they formed. During the height of the counter-culture hippie movement in 1965 San Fransisco, BBHC was jazz drummer David Getz, Guitarists Peter Album, Sam Andrew, James Gurley, and then-unknown Janis Joplin.

After a legendary performance at 1967's Monterey Pop Festival, Big Brother followed with their major label debut of 1968's album Cheap Thrills. The LP shot up the Billboard charts to #1, offering the Summer of Love now classic songs like "Piece of My Heart" and bluesy Big Mama Thornton cover "Ball and Chain".
