Janis Joplin's Pearl is her second & final solo studio album, released posthumously in January 1971 on Columbia Records. 

This is a new pressing of the original album, 180 gram 1 LP vinyl record.

The album held the number one spot on Billboard for nine weeks straight and was certified quadruple platinum.

The final track of Side 1, "Buried Alive In The Blues", was an instrumental because Janis died before she could record the vocals.

The B-Side features the fan favorite Kris Kristofferson-penned "Me And Bobby McGee", and the beautiful acapella "Mercedes Benz" -- the last song Janis ever recorded.
