Founded in 1949's New York City by Bob Weinstock when he was just 21, Prestige Records would quickly make some of the 20th century's most valuable contributions to Jazz Music. Among decades of releases is landmark Jazz albums like 7150 Miles Davis and the Modern Jazz Giants, Miles Davis Quintet, The Unique Thelonious Monk (the stamp album), Soultrane, and John Coltrane with the Red Garland Trio.

This Prestige Records jazz tank top features the label's original 'shellac' logo. Eventually, the logo would be retired for Prestige's three-arrow trident logo in the 1960s.
