The band Genesis was formed at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, in 1967 by classmates Peter Gabriel, Tony Banks, Ant Phillips Mike Rutherford and Chris Stewart while still young teenagers.

The band relentlessly honed their live show while releasing four quality albums, before sparking worldwide fire with 1973's Selling England By The Pound and their even bigger follow-up, 1974's The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway. 

Now over three decades later, after landmark albums including Invisible Touch, Abacab, and We Can't Dance, Genesis is an international sensation. Having produced decades of powerful hits & selling over 150,000,000 albums worldwide, Genesis was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.
