Description
This extra comfortable Bluescentric Brand authentic David Bowie sweatshirt is 8.5oz 80/20 cotton/polyester blend, with 100% cotton face (20 singles face yarn). It features a 1x1 ribbing at collar, cuffs and waistband, a tear-away label, and split stitch double needle sewing on all seams. The fit is very standard.

Official David Bowie, every sale directly benefits the icon's estate.

This design features the 1972 reissue album cover art -- a photo of glam rock Bowie, playing guitar, with his leg kicked over his head. The words say "David Bowie" and "The Man Who Sold the World".

The enigmatic title track to David Bowie's 1970 studio album "The Man Who Sold the World" went largely unacknowledged at first. It was not released as a single, and the album initially did not achieve much success.

But echoes of the eerie, circular song could not be silenced. Enchanted people began to make captivating covers, and the song slowly became acclaimed as one of Bowie's single greatest works -- culminating with Nirvana's surprise cover of the song on their 1993 MTV Unplugged performance. The cover almost immediately became a smash hit, hitting a string of chart top tens.

Bowie, with tongue in cheek, said he had to stop playing "The Man Who Sold the World" after Nirvanna's cover -- because too many people thought his was the cover!
