Official Charlie Parker. Every sale directly benefits the jazz saxophonist's estate.

This design features a famed photo of Charlie Parker taken at Carnegie Hall in New York in 1947, by William Gottlieb.

The performance itself was quite legendary. It was Dizzy Gillespie's first appearance at Carnegie Hall, but certainly not his last -- he played the Hall some 50 times.

The show was billed as "Dizzy Gillespie and His Orchestra," and included Ella Fitzgerald as a guest. While the stunning concert went down in history, the recording of the performance would not be released for some 50 years -- and it omitted Ella's performance entirely.
