This Bluescentric Brand authentic Sun Records t-shirt is available in premium lightweight 4.2oz vintage style sizes up to 4XL. Solid colors are 100% combed, ringspun cotton. Athletic Heather is 90% cotton. All other Heather colors are 52% cotton, 48% poly. Sizes run true. These t shirts are lighter and slightly more fitted compared to the Classic Gildan tees. 

Carl Perkins recorded Blue Suede Shoes in late December, 1955 and Sun Records released it the next month in 1956.The song was a massive hit, and Perkins was in huge demand.

But less than three months after the record's release, Perkins was involved in an automobile accident and spent extended time in the hospital. When sales of his record began to Fall, his label-mate and friend Elvis Presley, enjoying his newfound fame, recorded a cover that shot to the top of the charts, helping to boost Perkins' sales and get him back on his feet.
