"Come and Take It" has been the defiant call of the cannon-wielder for centuries -- echoed through history by King Leonidas when the Persian army demanded surrender, and later famously by the Texan hamlet of Gonzales when the Mexican Army demanded surrender of their cannon.

AC/DC's cannon imagery began on the cover of their 1982 album, "For Those About To Rock We Salute You". While in the studio recording that album, cannons boomed from a TV playing Princess Diana's wedding live, which sounded good enough that the band used cannon sounds in the album's title track.
