It was a springtime Saturday night in the heart of the south in Prichard, Alabama. The famed Harlem Duke Social Club on St. Stephens Road was hosting The Howlin' Wolf.

The date was May 30th, 1964, tickets were $3.00 and Howlin Wolf sang some of his hits like the recently released "Three Hundred Pounds of Joy", "Smokestack Lightning", "Wang Dang Doodle" and "Sock It To Me".
