Description
This Bluescentric Brand official Bob Dylan and The Band t-shirt is available in premium lightweight 4.2oz vintage style sizes up to 4XL. Solid colors are 100% combed, ringspun cotton. Athletic Heather is 90% cotton. All other Heather colors are 52% cotton, 48% poly. Sizes run true. These t shirts are lighter and slightly more fitted compared to the Classic Gildan tees.

This tee features the group's famed album The Basement Tapes with lightly distressed edges. Every sale benefits the band!

While recovering from a motorcycle accident that left him unable to perform, Bob Dylan retreated to Woodstock, New York in 1967 with his backing band, The Hawks (soon to be The Band).

From the basement of the band's rented house, nicknamed "Big Pink" for the exterior paint scheme, the group communed and enjoyed playing folksy Americana standards and penning compelling new stories.

While the famed album cover (pictured on this shirt) clearly features a basement, it was not the basement of Big Pink, but a L.A. YMCA. The photograph playfully inserted the musicians alongside circus sideshow acts and colorful characters.

It would take eight grueling years before Columbia Records would finally release what would become the iconic Americana album The Basement Tapes in 1975.
