Description
This is a 180 gram quality vinyl pressing of The Band's self-titled second album. The packaging has been restored to it's iconic original format.

The band's first album "Music from Big Pink" had been a collection of impromptu sessions recorded while the band was taking time off with Bob Dylan in a Woodstock, New York basement.

It was time to make a proper studio album. So the multi-cultural group came together in the pool house of a Hollywood home owned by Sammy Davis Jr. and created one of the most iconic americana albums of all time, the self-titled "brown album". Robbie Robertson wrote or co-wrote all twelve songs.

With tracks like Cripple Creek, The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down and Rag Mama Rag, the album was an immediate success, cementing The Band's place in the musical lexicon.
