In 1972, Pink Floyd played an epic concert at the ancient Roman city of Pompeii -- a town preserved in time by an unexpected volcano eruption that smothered it in ash nearly 2,000 years ago. 

The band performed, sans audience, while being filmed by director Adrian Maben, who conceived the idea and documented it for a full-length Pink Floyd concert movie experience: Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii.

The film also features tantalizing footage from Abbey Rd Studios while the band recorded The Dark Side of the Moon. 

Tracks included Echoes, Careful with That Axe Eugene, Saucerful of Secrets, and a handful of other tracks from past songs. TDSOM songs Us and Them & Brain Damage were also included -- though not played back-to-back.
