Description
This Bluescentric exclusive Big Brother and the Holding Company t-shirt is a classic heavy 100% preshrunk cotton, available in several colors and sizes up to 5XL. Heather colors are 50/50. Sizes run very true, and have minimal, if any, shrinking. This is a standard go-to t shirt.

1965's San Fransisco was the boiling point for an explosive American cultural movement when three guitarists, Peter Albin, James Gurley and Chuck Jones, formed Big Brother and the Holding Company to play experimental music. They wouldn't know it then, but their music would soon come to define an era.

With the addition of Jazz drummer David Getz, and the traditional bluesy vocals of a young Janis Joplin, Big Brother's acidic psychedelic music struck a chord with the world -- beginning with a still-legendary performance at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival, continued by the wildly popular 1968 album Cheap Thrills.
