The engagement Miles played at San Fransisco's legendary Blackhawk jazz club featured one of Jazz music's all-time legendary quintets: Jazz lineup of John Coltrane on tenor saxophone, Red Garland on piano, Paul Chambers on bass and "Philly" Joe Jones on drums. Miles, of course, played trumpet.
