Pioneering record producer Sam Phillips died July 30th, 2003 — one day before the building he made famous, Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee was designated a National Historic Landmark.

Cobra Records captured some of the hottest Chicago Blues of the 1950s, releasing music from Magic Sam, Otis Rush and even a young Buddy Guy, who'd just moved to town. Cobra lasted until the suspicious death of it's owner in 1959.

This Cobra Records T Shirt design was printed using an actual Cobra vinyl record for maximum authenticity.
