Country music legend Loretta Lynn's career spans over six decades! Hailing from humble beginnings in Butcher Hollow, Kentucky, she drew from her roots to craft authentic songs like "Coal Miner's Daughter" -- which became a smash hit. She went on to write & perform a stream of hits like "Fist City", "You Ain't Woman Enough To Take My Man," "The Pill" and "Blue Kentucky Girl". Lynn's storytelling prowess and distinctive voice have solidified her as one of the most influential figures in country music history. And she wasn't afraid to shy away from controversial topics on gender inequality. 

By the time she died at 90, Loretta Lynn had won three Grammy Awards, eight CMAs, had three #1 albums and 16 #1 singles on the Country charts, and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. She was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama, and performed at The White House for five separate presidents. Lynn was the first woman in country music to achieve a gold record, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
