Paramount Walk Of Fame
Grafton, Wisconsin
Matt's Notes:
Grafton, a town of about 11,000 is only about 20 minutes from Milwaukee up US 43. Grafton boasts a unique place in Blues history as the home of Paramount Records, which produced and sold the majority of early and extremely influential blues albums, including Charley Patton, Son House, Skip James, Willie Brown, Ma Rainey, Tommy Johnson, and many others!! Grafton has fashioned an incredible outdoor "walk of fame" of blues musicians that recorded there, and the whole "village" really embraces their once-lost blues culture. If you're closeby, it's worth checking out! I hear there's one very cool Blues-themed restaurant nearby as well! (Thanks Hawkeye!)
