This is the XLT version of this official Monterey Pop Festival t-shirt.

This Bluescentric Brand XLT music t-shirt comes in preshrunk 6oz 100% cotton sizes XLT, 2XLT and 3XLT. Sizes run very true, and have minimal, if any, shrinking. This is a standard go-to t shirt for our big & tall music lovers.

1967's Monterey International Pop Music Festival has a special place in American culture. It was The Who's first U.S. performance, so to impress the crowd, Pete Townshend smashed his guitar. It was also Jimi Hendrix's American debut. Not to be outdone by Townshend, Hendrix set fire to his guitar "as a sacrifice" at the end of his performance.

Famed performances by Janis Joplin, Otis Redding, The Grateful Dead, The Butterfield Blues Band, Booker T and the MGs, and many others cemented Monterey Pop's place in rock n roll history.
