Big Blue Buffalo Wings
Ingredients
- 2 lb whole chicken wings.
- Louisiana Hot Sauce
- Buffalo Sauce (your choice)
- 1 Stick butter/margerine
- 3 cloves garlic or garlic salt
- Cajun Spice
- Black Pepper
Directions
1) Cut the wings into two sections: the drumstick and the wing,
removing the triangle-shaped cartlidge between the two.
There is a third smaller part on the end of the wing that should be
removed as well. If you got garlic cloves, mince them as well.
2) Cook the wings. You can do this in a number of ways: Breaded
and deep fried, in a smoker, or frilled. Any are excellent.
Cook them until you can cut a drumstick open and the meat to the
bone is white.
2) Prepare your hot sauce. Place a small pot on medium heat.
Add in roughly a cup of hot sauce, half of a stick of butter,
and if you opted for buffalo sauce as well, add in about 1/2
of a cup. As the butter melts, evenly add in your garlic, black
pepper, and cajun spice. Stir.
3) Batter 3-5 wings at a time, making sure each is fully covered
in hot sauce.
4) Once all of your wings are battered, lightly dust them with
cajun spice and enjoy!
